What's the difference between a Signature Class and a Conversation Lab?
Signature Classes are 10-week sessions structured around a set grammar-based curriculum. The goal is to learn and understand new concepts to deepen your knowledge of the language.
Conversation Labs are drop-in classes focusing on speaking practice, through games, activities and guided discussions. The goal is to build confidence, enrich your vocabulary and apply the grammar you learned in context to turn your knowledge into skills.
Do I need to be in a Signature Class to join a Conversation Lab?
No! You can take Conversation Labs whether you're currently taking a Signature Class or not. Just make sure to pick the right level.
What Conversation Lab level should I pick?
Choose the Lab level matching the last 10-week Signature Class you took. Or take our placement test if you're new at Coucou or you haven't taken a class in a while.
How much does it cost?
Our 10 week Signature Classes are $299 online and $489 in-person. We offer a 15% Early Bird discount if you sign up 60 days (or more) in advance.
A Conversation Lab is $60 per unit (=1.5 hour-class), and we offer packages of 5, 10 and 25 units, allowing you to save up to 30% per unit.
Can I mix online and in-person with one package?
Only for Conversation Labs.
Do I need to book my Conversation Labs ahead or can I just show up?
You need to pay ahead to secure your spot.
